Prodigal Son in the key of F
COPYRIGHTED (please ask me permission if you want to use it)
Feeling footloose and frisky a featherbrained fellow forced his fond father to fork over his farthings. He fled forthwith to foreign fields and frittered his fortune feasting fabulously with faithless friends.
He soon found himself a feed flinger in a filthy farmyard. He feign would have filled his frame with food from the fodder fragments.
“Phooey! My father’s flunkies fare far fancier!” he frazzled, fuming feverishly, frankly facing facts.
Finally faced with failure and filled with foreboding, he fled forthwith to his father’s house and falling down at his father’s feet he floundered forlornly,
“Oh father, I have flunked and fruitlessly forfeited family favor!” But, the fond father, forstalling further flinching, frantically flagged the flunkies to fetch forth the finest fatling and fix a feast.
“The fugitive is found! Unfurl the flag! With fanfares flaring, let fun and frolic freely flow!” Failures forgotten and follies forsaken.
Friends, forgiveness forms the foundation for future fortitude.
Forged and fabricated from the fifteenth chapter of Luke.
