Dear Jesus,

Please forgive me, then teach me to forgive.

In this season of my life, I've been so vulnerable to hurts from people - whether it's from a far, or from the person closest to you. But I've been guilty as well. I've said things to put other people down, most of the time, intentionally. I pray Lord, that you will be merciful to me and extend your grace to me as I know that what I did was wrong. It did not glorify you, instead it might have stumbled others and painted a very bad image of you. I ask that you forgive me. I'm sorry Lord. I gave in to the temptation of anger, hate, and murder. Lord, just as you forgave those who hurt you in such a great way, help me to forgive those who have hurt me. Lord, please run this race with me. I can't do it alone.
