Had to write a song for my school project...

It's about prophesies...

We were suppose to present the assignment in a form of a song about prophesies from the Old Testament that is fulfilled in the New Testament..

So... here's the song...

The Prophesies

Verse 1:
It was said then that a virgin would be with child
He was born in Bethlehem, a place not hard to find
But Herod tried to mess things up
He tried to kill the one who would save us

Chorus:
But he didn’t understand the plan (echo: he couldn’t see)
If only he knew the prophesies (echo: would come to pass)
He is Christ, the heir of David, (echo: a prophet and a King)

It was said that Christ would come riding on an ass
Many people lined the streets, proclaiming him as King
But Judas had to mess things up
For thirty coins he killed the one who gave life

And they mocked and they beat Him
Spit on him and ridiculed Him

Crucified but he was silent
