ah!!!!!
my first time leading a funeral service already i am so stressed out!! can't imagine me leading an actual one... going to be super bad....
i sang out of key... pitched too low...
sang a capella first time...
and i guess i was being ambitious... coz i didn't know what other song to choose...
so i learnt the how can i keep from singing by chris tomlin and it was super appropriate coz the 2nd verse says "i will lift my eyes in the darkest times...." and so on...
not an easy song to learn.... sigh... didn't pull it off....
God, help me!
anyway... i took a cab back from ben's place and it was super interesting... the cab driver told me alot about his belief in Buddhism and all that... so i sort of got to understand the religion better... but the best part was it strengthen my own faith... the taxi driver reminded me of this analogy... the wind... can't see it but you know it's there.. isn't GOD the same? you can't see him but you see his miraculous works - creation, and you feel his presence, overwhelming... and you hear his voice... you know he's there...
I love you Lord
And I lift my voice
To worship You
O my soul, rejoice
Take joy my King
in what you hear
May it be a sweet sweet sound in your ear...
