Have we ever wondered about the love of God? Joyce expounds on this passage of scripture regarding how God really truly loves us. In verse 1, the Lord searches us, pursues us and woos us to get to know us. Not know just in the plain sense but to KNOW, an intimate kind of knowing, every part of our being and behaviour. Verse 2, the Lord ever cares what we are thinking when we sit on our chair and stand up. He goes for details. He knows our thoughts even before we ever thought about it! Verse 3, He is familiar, understands all our doings and thinkings! Our habits, and our dumbness! Our blurness, anger, low self esteem, bad tempers, violence. How many stupid thoughts about ourselves and other people do we have every day? Uncountable! He knows them all. What we do first thing in the morning and the last thing at night. He knows. Verse 4, He knows what is going through our minds each and every thing before we utter them!
Amazing are you Lord! Praise You God! I just feel like you are saying to me, “You don’t know what it’s like to love somebody the way I LOVE YOU.”
