Prayer of Serenity

My prayer for this season:

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.


This is so hard to blog.

Certain things we just can't change. But why is it so difficult to accept it?

Even though I've accepted it, it seems that I still bear the grudge inside of me.

The word just keeps coming back to me. Is denying yourself so difficult?

Today I just whispered another prayer to God: "God, break me and put me in situations which causes me to be humble so that I may have a story to share that glorifies you."

Come on gal, face it: you ARE a CONTROL freak.

Stop poking your nose in other people's business, just be in role! Your role in MM is just a committee member and the keyboardist, just do what you need to do. If you're not the WL leader that week, just accept what you need to do! Shut up and keep your opinions to yourself! It may even be worse if you interfere!

Always smile and be nice. If you need to vent, don't.
